My mom has been seeing the message 'We have detected unusual traffic from your network' for the past two days. It appears randomly whenever she's searching on Google with her iPhone. She's not using a VPN or any similar service. Does anyone know what's causing this issue?

This can happen for a few reasons, ranging from a simple glitch to possible malware. Here are a few fixes to try:

1. Make sure the date and time settings on her iPhone are correct.
2. Restart the iPhone to refresh the system.
3. Run a virus scan using a reliable app like Bitdefender or Malwarebytes, especially since Norton's or McAfee's effectiveness is often questioned. It's good to check all devices connected to the network too.
4. Restart the internet modem/router: unplug it for about 10 seconds before plugging it back in.
5. Check the settings in the web browser to see if anything seems unusual.

Just a heads up, she’s getting this message on her iPhone, not a computer. Could that change anything?
