I've recently bought a new PC, and I'm trying to connect to the internet through dial-up. However, I'm getting an error that says, 'The modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.' I'm not sure what steps to take next. One issue is that I can't use an Ethernet cable because my router is too far away. Also, I'm new to PC usage and I'm running Windows 11 Pro. I've looked online for solutions, but most of the advice seems to be for Ethernet connections. Can anyone help me out here?
