Hey everyone! I currently have an RX 580 and I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. My goal is to play AAA games at 1440p on high settings, though ray tracing isn't a priority for me. The RX 9060XT is priced at $480, while the RTX 5070 is $640. I also see that I can get an RX 7800XT for $540, or a B580 for $340. Which GPU do you think would be the best choice for my needs? I'd go for the RTX 5070 if you're looking for value. It offers a significant performance boost compared to the 9060XT, especially at 1440p, which is what you're aiming for. Plus, it's only a bit over MSRP, while the 9060XT is quite marked up.
Does the extra 12GB VRAM on the 5070 really matter versus the 9060XT or 7800XT?
