I've hit a wall with storage on my Mac Studio M2. The storage settings are telling me that documents are taking up a whopping 141.1GB, but when I check Finder, it shows only 21GB for the documents folder. It's super frustrating because I can't figure out where all that storage is going. If anyone has any tips for finding hidden storage hogs, I'd really appreciate it!

Have you checked if you're using 'Desktop and Documents in iCloud'? That can sometimes mess with how space is reported. It's possible some files are stored in iCloud while just placeholders are on your Mac, making it look like you have more space used up. You can manage settings in System Preferences under Apple ID.

I think you're right! I was confused by the storage display too. Even with only 20GB left on iCloud, it might still reflect more used space. Just a heads up to check your iCloud settings!
