Getting Help with SSH Key Issues and Software Upgrade Errors on Ubuntu

I've been having a tough time with my coding setup lately. My challenges began when I lost my SSH key pass during a move, and honestly, my life has been a bit messy for the past few years. I've neglected my system because it still works for the most part, but now I'm trying to refresh my JavaScript skills to complete a passion project that means a lot to me. However, I'm unable to access many of my tools due to some software deprecations.

I'm working on an older Dell Precision M4800, my trusty coding PC, though it does need a new battery. Currently, I'm stuck on Ubuntu 22.04 .5 LTS, and I can't seem to upgrade it. Whenever I try to update software like Krita and Docker, I'm hit with 403 errors, which I suspect might be related to the loss of my SSH key.

I've attempted to resolve the key issue a few times but haven't made much progress, especially without medication or a support system to help me focus. I'm aware that my setup is a bit of a mess, and I'd really appreciate guidance on how to systematically tackle these issues, with some good resources if possible. Thanks!

A 403 error usually indicates you're trying to access an invalid server or path on the server, not specifically an issue with your SSH keys. It’s good to clear that up!

Thanks for the clarification! I thought the 403 errors might be related to my missing keys since some programs mentioned lacking a PUBKEY. Some updates I've tried were through SNAP, could that be complicating things?
