I've been seeing a lot about Arch Linux on TikTok and YouTube, and it looks amazing—smooth, fast, and just beautiful! But the first time I tried to install it, I accidentally deleted everything, lol. Now I'm attempting to install it again, but I'm not sure what I need or where to learn about 'ricing' and which desktop environment to choose. Currently, I'm using Zorin as my distro.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend jumping straight into Arch for your first Linux experience. It's better to start with something more beginner-friendly like Mint or Ubuntu. Arch can be tricky for newbies, so maybe get comfortable with another distro first.
Make sure to read the installation guide carefully as you go along. If you're looking for a gentler start, consider Cachy Linux; it's based on Arch but designed to be more user-friendly. Research a bit before diving in for the install!
The Arch Wiki is your best friend when it comes to learning about Arch Linux. Seriously, it's packed with guides and information to help you through the install process. Check it out at archlinux.org.
It might be best to stick with Zorin for your main system while you experiment with Arch in a VM. This way, you won't risk messing up your main OS while learning the ropes.
I can relate! The first time I tried installing Arch, I wiped everything too. If you're feeling lost, you can always reach out to the community for help. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into the wiki.
