I'm diving into building my first gaming PC and could really use some advice! I've got a budget of around €50 ($50) for a local shop to assemble it for me, and they offer a 3-year warranty, which sounds pretty reassuring. I'm uncertain if I should tackle the build myself or rely on them, especially since I don't want to damage any components. I already have my keyboard, mouse, and mousepad sorted out. Here are my specs:
- AMD RYZEN 5 5600
- GAINWARD GEFORCE RTX 5060 TI PYTHON III 16G
- GIGABYTE B550M DS3H
- ADATA XPG GAMMIX DDR4 2X16GB 3200MHZ CL16
- APACER AS2280Q4X 1TB
- MONTECH APX550 Power Supply
- ADATA XPG VALOR MESH case
I'll be using a 27" Lenovo Legion R27qe monitor which supports 1440p at 180Hz. Any insights or tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to think about getting a 1080p monitor instead. The RTX 5060 Ti is decent, but for max settings at 1440p, you might have to lower some settings. If you play less demanding games, your setup should be fine, but I recommend also getting a 650W PSU for extra headroom.
Could you share what country you're in and the total cost of your setup? That could help others give better advice!
I'm in Slovakia! The price is €868 without the monitor and €1055 with it.
Honestly, for that fee, it's a good idea to let the pros handle it, especially since you’ll get a warranty with it. Building your own can be rewarding but there's a learning curve, and having that peace of mind is valuable.
Thanks for the input! It's reassuring to know I'm considering the right choice.
Great tip on the PSU! I’m not planning to play super demanding games, so I might stick with the current setup. Thanks!
