I've noticed over the past few days that ChatGPT seems to be responding with less detail and the replies are becoming shorter and kind of dull. I use it primarily for writing stories and reading fanfics, and it used to be fantastic with creative content. Now, the responses feel less passionate, and it seems less willing to generate the same quality of writing as before. Additionally, when I tried using the 4.5 version, I was limited to only six uses despite being a Plus subscriber, which has never happened before. I'm really hoping they address these issues because I miss the old ChatGPT.

Honestly, I think the shifts in tone are just reflecting a normal balance. Previously, it was overly complimentary, but now it feels more grounded. But the issue with responses for the wrong person sounds frustrating!
Exactly. It makes me wonder what else might be going awry.
I think it has to do with how it processes conversational cues. If it feels like the topics are getting too complex or abstract, it might tone down the creativity to avoid confusion. That said, I've been having great experiences if I keep my prompts engaging!
That's interesting! I've had a similar experience where I noticed it reacting differently based on the complexity of my prompts.
Yeah, I've found that approaching it with a lighter tone helps too. It definitely has its quirks!
You can actually adjust your customization settings to dictate how you want ChatGPT to respond—whether you prefer shorter answers or something more elaborate.
I feel like a lot of these complaints are just users adjusting to a change. It was never really that 'passionate' to begin with, huh? But hey, at least we can communicate without being showered in ridiculous compliments anymore!
Haha true! But sometimes I miss that playful tone.
I get that, but it feels healthier without all the fluff!
I've noticed similar changes, but I've found that if you keep engaging with it, the creativity seems to flow back eventually. Just give it some time!
Exactly! It’s strange to think our conversations might be misdirected.
