Help! Every Website Says My Connection Isn’t Private

I'm using a MacBook Pro 11,4 and everything was working perfectly until today. Now, every website I try to visit shows an error saying "Your connection is not private" with the code NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID. When I look into it, the certificates are from a company called VoiceFive with an expiration date set for March 23rd, 2026. I've checked my laptop's clock and it's accurate. I've cleared cookies and browsing history, yet this error keeps showing up. It happens even when I'm connected to my phone's hotspot, and other devices in my house are fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First, make sure your computer's clock and date are correctly set. Sometimes it can be off by a year or so, which can cause these privacy errors. Double-check it just to be sure!

I’ve confirmed my settings and it shows 1/27/2026, matching my other devices. Are there any other places I should check?

So, VoiceFive is actually a market research company. They sometimes develop software that monitors users' online activity through a method called Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) attacks. This means they might have installed software on your laptop to intercept your web traffic. If your computer doesn't trust their certificate, that could be why you're seeing these errors. You might want to uninstall any software related to VoiceFive unless you're involved in their research.

Thanks for clarifying that! I didn't know about VoiceFive, and it is concerning to think it got on my laptop. I've checked the certificate, and it shows it expired recently, which corresponds with when I started seeing the error. Do you think I should just do a hard reset on my computer?
