I built my PC about four months ago, and everything was working fine until I updated the BIOS and drivers. After that, I started experiencing frequent blue screens. The crashes always indicated driver issues. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall drivers, but ultimately I reset the PC which temporarily helped. However, the blue screens returned after a week, and I decided to install a fresh Windows copy. It worked for a few hours before the bluescreens reappeared. I read on some forums that my SSD might be to blame, so I bought a new one. Now, the strange thing is that my PC only turns on if I connect the display port to the motherboard; otherwise, the GPU doesn't even power up. I'm really stuck here and would appreciate any tips you might have!

It sounds like your GPU might be malfunctioning. The best way to confirm this is by testing the GPU in a different PC that you know works. If it still doesn't work there, it could very well be dead!
If the GPU fans start spinning when you plug the display into the motherboard, does that mean the GPU is definitely dead?
