Help! I Clicked a Suspicious Link on My iPhone – Should I Be Worried?

I accidentally clicked on a questionable NSFW link on X, thinking it was a video, but it redirected me to a sketchy site that asked for access to my microphone, camera, and location all at once. I denied all requests, deleted my account right away, and cleared my browser history. Do I need to be concerned about any potential access or malware? Also, I have a screenshot of my location services settings, but I'm unsure about the difference between the recent and 24-hour settings. Thanks for any advice!

Don't stress too much! You're right to be cautious, but denying those permissions helps a lot. Apple devices generally have solid defenses against threats, so you likely dodged a bullet here.

Honestly, just closing the tab was probably enough. You've done the right thing by denying the permissions. Why stress about it? As long as you didn't download anything, you should be good.

True, what’s done is done. Just keep an eye on your device for any strange behavior.

You probably don't have anything to worry about. Since you denied those permissions and didn’t download anything, you should be fine. Apple has good security measures in place. Just avoid clicking on links like that in the future, and maybe stick to more reputable sites!

Yeah, I agree! Just be careful going forward. It’s always best to double-check those links before clicking.
