I misplaced my Samsung phone somewhere in the house and I'm losing my mind trying to find it. I've checked various guides, but they all require the location services to be turned on, which isn't the case for me. Does anyone have suggestions for how I can locate my phone under these circumstances?

I usually take the approach of buying a replacement, and oddly enough, that's when the old one shows up! It seems like the universe has a funny way of doing things. But seriously, try calling it when it’s dark; you might see the screen light up.
Have you tried using Google’s Find My Device? It might alert your phone even with the sound off. Just a thought!
If you have access to another device that can reach Google Assistant, that could help. You can make your phone ring, even if it’s on silent. I keep an old phone around just for such emergencies!
If the location is off, there's really not much you can do. The best bet is just hunting for it manually. Sometimes, it turns up unexpectedly when you aren't looking for it!
Keep searching! If location services aren't active, you won't be able to pinpoint the phone's location, but you can try using voice assistants like Bixby or Google Assistant. If you have a smart speaker or display, you can say something like 'Hey Google, find my phone.' Hopefully, it'll ring loud enough for you to hear it!

I tried that! The screen didn’t light up, but I’m not giving up just yet.
