Hey everyone! So, I've got this old PC (about 7-8 years), which I've upgraded here and there with a new GPU, more RAM, and bigger hard drives. Recently, my main SSD (120GB) got completely packed with stuff, and no matter how much I delete or move to other drives, it fills up again quickly.
I decided to clone my main SSD to a new 1TB SSD I just bought. However, during the cloning process, I think I did it wrong. I meant to clone my C drive to my D drive, but now my D drive says it needs formatting. After formatting, it's showing only 120GB, like my C drive. I thought I could just factory reset my PC to freshen things up, but that didn't work out either.
When I tried to restart my PC, I couldn't log in because it claims that something important is missing from the D drive, which is now messed up. I tried to boot into recovery mode for a factory reset, but my C drive is completely full and it needs at least 4GB free for the reset.
So, I'm turning to you all: is there any way to reset my PC that I've missed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for the lengthy post!

Honestly, the easiest fix might be to just reinstall Windows using a USB stick. You can plug it in and install it directly to your largest drive. It’ll give you a fresh start without worrying about the mess you made with the cloning.
It seems like what happened is your original drive was cloned as a partition, which kept it at 120GB on the new drive. You could potentially resize the partition using disk manager, but if that’s too tricky, a fresh Windows install on the larger drive might be your best bet. After installing, just transfer your files over from the old drive.
That sounds like a solid plan! But how do I make a bootable USB stick for Windows?
