I recently bought some renewed AirPods 4 ANC on Amazon, and they worked perfectly during setup. Unfortunately, while walking my dogs, the charging case slipped out of my shallow pockets, and I didn't realize it until it was too late. I tried using the Find My feature, but it didn't work because the case apparently wasn't fully erased from the previous owner's Apple ID. I'm hoping someone has experienced a similar situation and can suggest a good replacement case that includes the Find My feature for accurate location tracking. Also, since I have an Apple Limited Warranty until November and a 90-day guarantee from Amazon, is there any way I could get a replacement?

Just a heads up, the 90-day guarantee from Amazon and Apple’s warranty usually don’t cover lost items. They’re mainly for hardware issues or defects, unfortunately.
Unfortunately, yeah. It’s a tough situation, but they typically won’t cover software issues on lost items.
You can definitely get a replacement case directly from Apple, but be prepared to shell out some cash for it.
Yeah, I'm just trying to see if there's another way. Paying 80 pounds for a new case right after buying them is such a bummer!
