Help Me Choose a New Processor and Upgrade My PC

Hey everyone! I'm pretty clueless about computer parts and I'm hoping to get some guidance. Currently, I need a new processor, but I've read that my existing one is embedded, which means I might need a new motherboard too.

I want to upgrade my PC gradually, especially since I've recently purchased TESIV: Oblivion Remastered and want to run it at the minimal specs. Here's what I've got:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE with Radeon Vega Graphics
- **Motherboard:** ASRock b450M-HDV R 4.0
- **BIOS:** American Megatrends Inc. P 10.10
- **Memory:** 32GB DDR4
- **Graphics:** NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super
- **OS:** Windows 10

Some of my fans are acting up, so I know I need to replace those too. My main concerns are how to pick a new processor, where to buy the parts, and ensuring compatibility with my current setup. I'm aiming to run some newer games on low settings and older ones on high. Thanks for any help!

Since you have the ASRock b450M-HDV R 4.0, you can upgrade to the Ryzen 5000 series, and that motherboard supports CPUs up to 105 watts. It's not an embedded model—it's just an AMD AM4 APU.

If you're thinking about a new GPU, aim for something like the 3070 Ti for your gaming needs. But if you're considering the future, saving up for a build on AM5 could be worth it!

Why the focus on the 3070? I thought my GTX 1660 was fine for now.

First off, what's your budget for the CPU? That'll help narrow down the options for you!

I'd prefer to stick around $150 for each part, though I know some can be pricier.
