I'm planning my first PC build, and I'm excited but a bit overwhelmed. I'm aiming for an Intel Core i7 CPU, a solid NVIDIA GPU, and 64GB of RAM. Here's my draft on PCPartPicker: [pcpartpicker.com/list/sFjRWc](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sFjRWc). I've done some research and I'm trying to keep my budget under $2,000 USD, but I'm willing to be flexible since I want this setup to last long-term.
I'd love to hear your thoughts! Am I spending too much or too little on any of the chosen parts? Are there any recommended brands? Also, are there any crucial components that I missed? I'm particularly unsure about selecting the right motherboard, cooling solutions, and the power supply setup including the necessary cables. Thanks for your help!

So, I see you're leaning toward the Intel CPU! Just curious, what’s driving that choice for you? What's the main use case for your PC?
I found a website claiming Intel CPUs were a better deal, and I've always used Intel before, so I'm comfortable sticking with it. But I'm open to suggestions! I'm mainly building this for gaming—like GTA, Elden Ring, and some VR.
