I've run into a frustrating issue with my Amazon account. A couple of days ago, I tried to log in to enroll in a new AWS certification, which I was excited about since I already hold several. However, I can't access my account because it's linked to a phone number I no longer have, and after several attempts to log in, my account got blocked. I've spoken to Amazon's support multiple times, but they say they can't unblock my account because I don't have any orders from the past year. This feels really unfair since I've spent a lot on certifications through this account.
They suggested that my only option might be to permanently delete my account and start fresh with a new one. But if I do that, I'll lose all my previous certifications and vouchers, and I have no idea if I'll be able to re-enroll in new certifications without proof of the ones I've completed. I have only the confirmation emails. I'm hoping someone else has experienced this and found a solution before I make the tough decision to delete my account. It's really disappointing that Amazon doesn't seem to have a system in place to consider certifications linked to an account before blocking it.

Hey there, I'm really sorry to hear about this mess with your account. Have you tried reaching out to the Training & Certification team directly? You can do it through this form: http://go.aws/contact-us-training. Alternatively, if you have the case ID handy, you can chat with them directly. Best of luck!
Thanks for the tip! I just sent them a message from my new account outlining my situation. Fingers crossed they can help, though I'm skeptical since they seem pretty strict about unblocking accounts.
