I'm having a huge issue with my computer's audio drivers after messing around with some IRQ settings. My graphics card and audio drivers were sharing IRQ 16, and in an attempt to resolve the conflict, I disabled some drivers I didn't use based on advice from ChatGPT. Unfortunately, I ended up disabling a vital driver, and even when I restarted, I couldn't get anything to work. I managed to change the audio driver's IRQ to 17, but ultimately, the sound stopped working altogether.
Now, I can't even find my audio drivers in the list—they're only showing up under 'hidden devices.' Following the suggestions I got, I deleted the drivers and checked the BIOS, but the onboard audio option is missing. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but nothing's worked, and I'm considering a factory reset since I can't even use my USB drivers anymore. I really need some help here!

Have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)? It’s great for completely removing drivers, so you can start fresh. Also, which sound card do you have? It might help to know that, especially since your BIOS isn't recognizing it anymore.
Lmao, sounds like a wild ride! Just remember, AI isn’t perfect—sometimes it just misses the mark. Good luck sorting this out!
You might need to back up your data and do a complete reset of your system if all else fails. It's a pain, but it could solve the driver detection issues you're facing. Also, don’t forget to check for updates to your Nvidia drivers too, as they include HD audio drivers.
If you're comfortable with PowerShell, you can try enabling all devices in one go. There’s a command that lets you enable all disabled devices, which might help bring your audio drivers back to life. Just make sure to run it as an admin.
Unfortunately, the devices don’t show up at all in the BIOS. They’re just completely missing.
Sounds like you might have created a mess by disabling drivers without fully understanding their importance. First, try reinstalling the missing audio drivers. If they’re not working, you may have uninstalled something vital. Resetting the computer might be your best bet if the drivers aren't showing up at all.
I did try reinstalling, but it didn’t work. I'm really stuck here.

I can’t even see my sound card in BIOS! I think it might be related to my Nvidia setup. My motherboard is an MSI H110M Pro.
