I've been dealing with a frustrating issue since July 2025 where Microsoft has blocked my access to my Azure account due to a multi-factor authentication (MFA) policy they implemented. Even though I have MFA set up on my phone, I still can't access my account or the services I've paid for, which is causing serious technical and financial problems for me. I've opened a ticket with Microsoft (TrackingID#2507150040006114), but their support has been slow and unhelpful, with no clear solutions or timelines. I'm in urgent need of access to my services or at least some viable alternatives like an MFA reset or verification through another method. If this keeps up, I'm also looking for a refund for the downtime I've experienced, plus guidance on how to regain access.

It sounds like you're in a tough spot! One thing to check is if you have alternative methods set up for accessing your account. It's a good practice to have a 'break glass' account in case of situations like this. Could it be you misconfigured something or maybe changed the device you originally used for MFA? Either way, it really sucks that this is happening to you.
With a Conditional Access policy lockout, there's a certain process to follow. First, you'll want to ensure you can verify ownership of the domain, usually through DNS. Microsoft often sends a message to every global administrator asking them to log in, but surprisingly that won't get you anywhere if you're locked out. After 24 hours of no luck, they may agree to disable the problematic CA policy. After that, it's just a waiting game for someone to actually help you out. Would definitely recommend setting up a Break Glass account tied to a FIDO2 key as a safety net for the future.
I totally get where you're coming from. We pay a lot for high-level enterprise support too, and honestly, it's been disappointing. Don't expect miracles, unfortunately. It can be hit or miss.
What type of MFA did you have set up? Microsoft has been changing their policies lately, and some legacy authentication methods are being phased out. Are you completely locked out of any part of your account, or can you at least access the security settings to add another MFA method?
Just a heads-up, which specific policy did Microsoft impose that led to this situation? Knowing that might help figure out a workaround or solution. It’s strange they’d lock you out like that!
I guess that's what I expected, but it's still disheartening. Thanks for the heads-up!
