I just finished putting together my first PC, and while everything seems to be running, I'm facing a problem with the fans connected to a hub. They're all spinning at full speed, but the motherboard isn't detecting them, and I can't adjust any settings in the BIOS because of it. I'm using PWM fans, and I'm curious if this is a common issue with fan hubs. Should I be looking into specific hub software to resolve this, or do I need to replace the hub itself?

It sounds like your CPU fan is likely not plugged into the correct header on the motherboard. You need to connect the fan that's cooling your CPU directly to the CPU_FAN header, which is usually located at the top right of the motherboard. Fans connected to the hub can stay there, but make sure that crucial one is properly connected!
You’re right, having your fans all connected to a hub is probably the main issue here. The CPU fan needs to go into its dedicated CPU_FAN header. It's a good idea to spread out your other fans across different headers for better control. Hubs are fine for fans that you want to run at the same speed, but they can complicate things for CPU cooling.
Since you have an AIO setup, it's fine if you’re not using a dedicated CPU fan, but you should definitely head into your BIOS and disable any CPU fan warnings to avoid issues there.
