Help! My Dell laptop is stuck after updating to Windows 11

I updated my Dell Inspiron 15 laptop to a version of Windows 11, but now it's stuck on some screens, and I don't know what to do. I'm not very tech-savvy, and I really want to avoid losing my data. The version I'm currently on is Microsoft Windows 10.0.26100.1, and my BIOS version is 1.25.0. I've tried several troubleshooting options, which I included in a second image (sorry, it's in Spanish and I couldn't translate it). I've attempted command line solutions, but the tutorials I found don't match what I'm seeing on my screen, particularly when it comes to accessing safe mode. Additionally, the option to uninstall updates isn't working, and many troubleshooting options lead me back to the original screen. I appreciate any help you can provide!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a corrupt Windows installation since it happened right after your upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Have you tried booting your laptop in Safe Mode? It can sometimes allow you to access the system more freely and perform repairs. If you need help with that, I can share steps!

Yeah, definitely give Safe Mode a shot! It can help you troubleshoot without loading all the standard drivers and services.

One of the options you could try is resetting your PC. It gives you the ability to keep personal files while removing apps and restoring system settings. Just select the 'Keep my files' option when prompted!

Don't panic! Sometimes these updates can lead to issues, but they can often be fixed without losing data. If you follow some recovery steps, you might be able to restore your system without wiping anything. Let me know if you need a detailed guide on recovery options!

You should also check if you can get to the dump files from the crash. They’re stored in C:WindowsMinidump if you can access it. If you manage to grab those, you can zip and upload them to a file-sharing site like MediaFire. That way, people can take a look and diagnose the issue more accurately.

Make sure to change your settings to create small memory dumps for future issues. You might get more useful data that way!
