I recently built my first PC, but it's giving me a hard time as it won't boot at all. The CPU and DRAM LEDs stay lit, no matter what I try. I've done a bit of troubleshooting already, but those lights refuse to turn off.
Here's what I've got:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 9600x
- GPU: Rx 7900xt
- RAM: T-Create 2x16GB 6000MHz
- Motherboard: MSI X670 Gaming Plus WiFi
- PSU: Corsair RM750e 80+ Gold
I've swapped the motherboard, thinking it might be faulty, but the issue persists. I'm starting to wonder if it's the CPU or RAM causing the problem. I have a debug speaker that beeps when there's no RAM, but stops once I insert it, so I think the CPU's memory management is working fine. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

It sounds like you might be experiencing RAM training issues, especially since it's a new AMD build. Sometimes, the RAM takes a little bit of time to properly initialize - I'd recommend leaving it on for about 30 minutes to see if it resolves itself. Just keep an eye on it, and hopefully, you'll see some action!
Double-check that the CPU power pin is properly connected. Sometimes, those connections can be tricky to get right, and if it’s loose, your PC won’t boot. Make sure it’s seated well, and you might just solve the problem!
I did check that, and it's connected properly. I'll keep looking for other potential issues.
30 minutes, huh? That sounds like a long time for new components. Are you sure it won't overheat or anything?
