Hey everyone, I could really use some advice about my Instagram account, which was recently disabled, and I believe it's a mistake. Here's what happened: I've never broken any rules on my main account, but a few days ago, it got permanently disabled. I had just set up a second account to sell clothes, which didn't have any activity or followers yet, so I'm guessing Instagram linked that to my main account somehow. My main account means so much to me because it's filled with memories of loved ones I've lost and incredible moments from my life that I wanted to share with my future kids. I was planning to back it up soon, and losing all that would be heartbreaking. I've tried appealing, but it got rejected, and now I can't appeal again. I also emailed Instagram support but haven't heard back. I read about the potential benefits of Meta Verified for getting live support—does that actually work? And does anyone know of any hidden contact forms for permanently disabled accounts? I'm originally from the Netherlands but understand English well, so any step-by-step guidance would be awesome! Thanks for taking the time to read this; any support would mean a lot to me!

Your story is heartbreaking, and I hope you get your account back! Instagram has pretty poor customer service, but I’ve seen others suggest trying different social media platforms to reach out. Sometimes public posts can get more attention. A few also mentioned some hidden forms that circulate on forums, so maybe look around in some tech support groups? Good luck!
I'm really sorry to hear about your situation! It sounds incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, a lot of people have trouble with disabled accounts and getting through to Instagram support can be like pulling teeth. I’ve heard some people had luck with Meta Verified for quick support, so it’s worth a shot. But honestly, it's also good advice to keep your important photos on a physical drive or cloud storage to avoid this kind of stress in the future!
Yeah, it's tough. I didn't even know Instagram could disable accounts just like that. I'll have to look into that storage advice too!
Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely check out those forums for hidden forms and see what I can find.
