I need some advice regarding my iPhone 12. It was working fine until it suddenly froze while I was using it. I couldn't get it to respond, so I powered it off by holding down the side button. But when I tried to turn it back on, nothing happened. I thought maybe it was dead, even though it was fully charged earlier, so I plugged it in. After an hour, I tried to power it on again, but it wouldn't budge. I then forced a restart by pressing the volume up, then volume down, and holding the side button, but that didn't work initially. After trying twice, my phone is now in a weird loop where the Apple logo appears for 5 seconds, disappears, then goes black for 5 seconds, and keeps repeating this. It's been like this for about 30 minutes, and another force restart didn't help. I don't have a PC or MacBook, only a Chromebook, so I'm not sure I can connect it to another device for troubleshooting.

Definitely sounds like a hardware problem, especially if performing the force restart didn’t help. If you decide to get a new phone, do you know if it's possible to recover your photos and other stuff from your device?
Sounds like you might be dealing with a hardware issue. It's best to take it to an Apple Store. Be forewarned though, repairs can be pricey, especially for a model like the 12. You might want to weigh the cost against getting a new phone altogether.
