I've been having a problem where my ISP seems to have blocked all torrent downloads. No matter what I try, including using a VPN, nothing seems to work. Isn't torrenting supposed to use a peer-to-peer network? I'm confused about how they might have done this. Also, I'd like to find out if there's a way for me to use torrents again. Just a heads up: I mistakenly thought Cloudflare was a VPN, but now I realize it's not. I'm looking for alternative solutions since using a VPN every time I download isn't efficient for me.

This problem is common in Egypt; accessing blocked services can actually be against the law. It’s a tough situation. Just a heads up, even if someone has a workaround, they likely won't share it here.
First off, can you clarify which VPN you're using? It sounds like you might not be using a proper one, especially if you're using Cloudflare.
You might want to consider switching to a proper VPN service, like Mullvad. It's a much better option for torrenting.
Honestly, if he's been trying to get stuff for free, I doubt he'd pay for a decent VPN to torrent.
Have you checked your torrent client's settings? Start there, since it can make a difference. You might need to adjust your settings to make sure everything is set up correctly before you try a VPN.
I’m using uTorrent and haven’t messed with the settings. Any suggestions on what settings I should change?
If your VPN isn't getting around the block, it probably means the issue is something else. Can you explain what exactly happens when you try to download?
That could be it, but some VPNs don't fully hide torrent traffic from the ISP, just so you know.
Well, all the users on the same ISP in my country are facing this issue, so we think it's definitely the ISP. Whenever I attempt to download, the request just keeps saying 'connection to peers'.
I guess I’m a bit confused; I thought Cloudflare offered VPN services.
