Help! My Laptop is Showing GPU Artifacts

Hey everyone! I have an Asus Vivobook 16X with a 12th gen i7, RTX 3050, and 16GB of RAM. It's running Windows 11 and is about 15 months old. Recently, I've started noticing a black and white screen flickering, which looks like some sort of GPU artifact. I've taken it to two different stores, but they both gave me different opinions on what's wrong. I'm feeling a bit lost on what to do next. Any advice would really help!

Here's a photo of what I'm seeing for reference: (attached image).

That definitely looks concerning! Just to reiterate, connecting it to another display can help confirm if it's a hardware issue. Good luck!

Also, since your laptop is still under warranty, you might want to contact the seller. They could offer a replacement or help fix it. Just make sure to mention the issue clearly when you reach out.

First off, try connecting your laptop to an external monitor. If the flickering happens on the external screen too, it's likely a GPU issue. If it looks normal, it might just be your laptop's display. That should help narrow it down! Let us know what you find out!

Will do! Thanks for the advice. I'm currently away from my monitor (left it at my uni house), but I'll try that as soon as I'm back on Sunday!
