Help! My Laptop Won’t Recognize My External Monitor

Yesterday, everything worked fine, but today my laptop just won't connect to my external monitor. I've tested the monitor and HDMI cable with another laptop, and they work perfectly. When I connect to a TV, it connects but gives a 'video not supported' message. The laptop doesn't even recognize the external monitor at all. I've tried all sorts of things like enabling/disabling graphics in device manager, using Win+P, switching ports, and restarting, but nothing seems to help. Can someone give me some advice?

Have you checked what kind of port you're using to connect? Sometimes, a simple change like that can make a huge difference.

I'm using HDMI to HDMI. Everything was working fine until yesterday, and I haven't changed anything. The laptop just doesn't seem to detect the monitor at all. Could it be a hardware issue with the laptop's HDMI port?
