Help! My PC is super slow and constantly crashing, what should I do?

I've been noticing that my CPU and RAM usage shows nearly full capacity on Task Manager, but I believe I'm only using around 40%. This discrepancy is really frustrating and has led to my computer becoming slower and crashing quite frequently, even during simple tasks. I've run scans with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender, and I've deleted files I thought might be harmful, but the problem persists. Has anyone faced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated!

What device are you using? Knowing your OS and how much RAM you have can help troubleshoot better. Also, keep an eye on any startup programs that might be overloading your system right when it boots up.

It sounds like you're dealing with some conflicting data from Task Manager. Sometimes, certain programs might not report their usage accurately. Have you tried checking what processes are running in the background? It might help pinpoint where all that usage is coming from, especially if there's something unwanted running. It could be a good idea to check Task Manager's 'Details' tab for more insight.

Have you checked for accumulated cache or temporary files? Sometimes, too many temporary files can lead to slowness. It might be helpful to clear that out and also make sure all your drivers are up to date.

If malware is suspect, doing a clean reinstall of Windows is often the most reliable fix. Just make sure to back up your important files first. Sometimes, stubborn malware can stick around even after scans, so starting fresh can clear it all out.

That's a solid approach. Just ensure you double-check your backups. Also, remember to install updates and security software again after you've reinstalled!
