Help! My PC Keeps Crashing Randomly During Games

I'm having a serious problem with my PC that keeps crashing unexpectedly, and it's becoming really frustrating. I've run the DDU program to reinstall my NVIDIA drivers, but that hasn't resolved the issue. I also started using HWInfo as suggested by a friend to check for any hardware issues, but I'm not sure how to interpret what I find.

Here's a bit of background: while gaming, my audio glitches out, the screens go black, and I don't get a BSOD (blue screen of death). The PC doesn't turn off on its own, so I have to press the power button to restart it.

I don't do any overclocking, and my BIOS settings are untouched. I'm really perplexed and would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting tips!

Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5 from Corsair
- Motherboard: NZXT N7 B650E
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
- CPU Cooler: KRAKEN Plus 360 RGB
- Storage: 2TB HDD from Barracuda, and 500TB SSD
- PSU: CORSAIR RM750 80 Plus Gold

First things first, you should check for any crash dump files in your Windows directory. If you can access Windows (or Safe Mode), look for files in C:WindowsMinidump. If you find any, zip them up and upload to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe. Having these files can significantly help in diagnosing the issue.

If you don't find any dump files, try setting your system to create small memory dumps, which can be done through the settings mentioned in a guide I found. It’s important to have multiple files for a thorough analysis.

One thing you can do is keep an eye on your CPU temperatures. I'd recommend using a monitoring tool like Core Temp or NZXT CAM to see how your components are behaving. I had a similar issue, and while playing games, my CPU spiked to high temps, causing crashes. Just make sure you’re monitoring while you game for the best insights!

I use NZXT CAM too since most of my parts are NZXT, and my temps usually sit around 55-70°C while gaming. But I’ve noticed that running heavier applications like Opera GX can spike my temps up to 85°C. Keeping track of those spikes has really helped me manage my cooling better!
