Help! My PC Struggles to Boot in UEFI Mode

I've spent hours trying to switch my PC from CSM to UEFI, and it's driving me nuts! Sometimes it manages to boot (like once every three tries), but most of the time, I get a blue screen with recovery options. I'm hoping there's a way to solve this issue without reinstalling Windows. Is there something I can do, maybe in Command Prompt or the BIOS, to fix this?

Make sure your disk is set to use a GPT partition to properly switch to UEFI. If you're worried about losing files, waiting until you can boot into Windows in UEFI to use the reset option (keeping your files) is a good idea! It should prepare your system for UEFI boot without wiping your data. Just be cautious and make backups if possible before doing any resets!

Thanks! I really want to avoid losing anything. I'll try that reset option once I can boot into UEFI.

It sounds frustrating! First off, if you can boot into Windows or Safe Mode, check your C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs (dump files) from the blue screens. If you find some, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site like mediafire or catbox.moe. We can analyze those to get a better understanding of the problem. If you don't have any dump files, you might want to change your dump settings to ensure you get them in the future. Just follow this guide for that!
