Help! My PS5 Can’t Connect to WiFi – Any Fixes?

I'm having a tough time getting my PS5 to connect to my WiFi. It keeps showing an error message that says, 'Can't obtain an IP address within the time limit.' Interestingly, my other devices connect to the internet without any issue. I've tried resetting my router multiple times and have even removed and re-added the WiFi network on my PS5, but nothing seems to work. I read online that maybe I've been booted off the network because I often argue with other players, but I'm not sure if that's the case. Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like your issue isn't related to being booted off the network. Usually, the 'Can't obtain an IP address' error points to DHCP problems in your router. You can try manually setting a static IP for your PS5. Just find out the current IP range from another device on your network and set your PS5's IP to something like 192.168.1.55 (just an example, make sure to adjust the last number to something not already in use). This might do the trick!
