I've been facing a big issue with my PC where my SSD has registered around 2 petabytes of writes, putting it in critical health. My setup includes an Intel i7 9700K CPU and a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite motherboard. I'm constantly getting a WHEA Event 19 error, which relates to the CPU and Cache Hierarchy system. This error is being logged every second, causing my CPU Core 4 to run at 150% utilization because of the logging on my boot SSD. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including disabling various BIOS settings, testing RAM sticks individually, and even removing my graphics card to rule out PCIe channel problems. None of these have resolved the issue. Interestingly, the error doesn't show up in Safe Mode, possibly due to lower CPU stress. I've also considered disabling the core that's causing the problem, but that would mean running on just 3 cores. I'm planning to eventually replace the CPU and motherboard, but I'm open to any software-related suggestions in the meantime!

Not to be a downer, but if your PC is still functioning, is it worth worrying? You're dealing with an older CPU, and it sounds like your performance is impacted. Maybe check which processes are using the most CPU, since the error log looks extensive.
Have you tried booting into Linux to see if the problem persists? It could be a Windows kernel issue. If the error doesn't show up there, it might be worth considering a Windows reinstall as a potential fix.
I've actually reinstalled Windows about four times. I'm starting to think it's related to how Windows handles the CPU.

Unfortunately, the performance drop is significant—about 60%. The increase in CPU usage correlates with my System and Diagnostics log, and that WHEA error pops up multiple times per second.
