How can I access the internet while housesitting?

Hey everyone!I'm housesitting for a client this week while they're on vacation, and I need to care for their pets. They left me instructions and the Wi-Fi password, but I'm having trouble connecting to the internet. Whenever I try to access it on my laptop, I'm redirected to a message saying: "LINKSYS smart Wi-Fi: Internet blocked. Your device is blocked from the internet right now". I'm stuck here without access—any ideas on how I can get around this issue or am I really stuck for the week?

It sounds like your laptop might need to be whitelisted on the router, which usually involves adding its MAC address. Check with the homeowner if you can get that sorted out!

If all else fails, grab an Ethernet cable and plug directly into the router. That should let you bypass the Wi-Fi restrictions completely! It's a simple but effective solution.

That actually sounds like a solid plan. I’ll definitely give that a try!
