I'm trying to get Google Search to show me results as if I'm searching from the United States. I know using a VPN is one option, but I'm looking for alternatives since I don't have access to a trusted US-based VPN. I'm getting frustrated with poorly translated links and resources that aren't in English. I've heard about using "-pl" or Advanced Search, but these methods don't quite replicate the experience I had when I was physically in the States and Google provided relevant results effortlessly. Any tips?

One method is to use the US version of Google from anywhere. Just go to www.google.com/ncr to avoid country redirects, and also make sure to set your region to 'United States' in your account settings. That usually helps.
Have you looked into browser plugins? There might be one that can help force the US results without too much hassle.
Definitely try using google.com/ncr for no country redirect and manually set your region in the Search Settings. You can also append gl=us and hl=en to your search URL to specify you want US and English results. It won't be perfect, but it should help reduce the localized results you’re seeing.
