I've got a pretty big issue with my laptop—its screen is broken, and I'm trying to boot it up. I flashed a Windows drive with Raspberry Pi OS and tweaked the config file to make it automatically switch to an HDMI display. Unfortunately, I'm still not getting any output. Any suggestions?

You might want to try closing the laptop lid and using an external keyboard and mouse instead of messing with the config. That could give you the access you need without needing to change anything.
The problem is if I connect the laptop screen, it shorts out and halts the boot process. I might have damaged it during previous attempts, so I can't use it.
