How can I change my Gmail password from my mobile app?

I've been having trouble with my Gmail account. It seems like someone might have changed my password without my knowledge, and now I can't log in through a browser or access it on any websites. The only upside is that I'm still logged into my Gmail on the mail app on my phone. However, this isn't much help because when I try to recover my account, I get stuck in a loop with a 120-hour wait time since I'm logged in. The recovery process suggests I should change my password directly on the device I'm logged into, but I can't figure out how to do that. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for changing my Gmail password while using the mail app on my phone? Thanks a lot!

Could you let us know which mail app you're using and on what device? Typically, the mail app has a settings menu where you can find account settings to change your password.

I'm using the standard mail app on an iPhone SE (2020). I couldn't find a settings option anywhere in the app.
