Hey everyone! I'm new to iOS and I'm struggling with my apps taking up a lot of space due to cached data. Is there a way to clear app cache on iOS similar to how we can on Android? Or is Apple intentionally keeping this feature limited to encourage users to buy larger storage models? Clearing app cache feels just as crucial as any important regulation, right?

You might want to check your storage usage first by going to Settings, then General, and tapping on iPhone Storage. As someone who switched from Android, I can tell you that in iOS, you usually don't need to worry much about cache. Sometimes, it’s really about managing unnecessary downloads or offline content that can take up space.
Unfortunately, iOS does not have a universal way to clear app caches. Some apps might let you clear their cache within their settings, but that’s not the case for most. A common method to clear cache is to uninstall and then reinstall the app, but of course, that can be a hassle.
It would be great if they provided a standardized way to clear cache!

Thanks for the tip! I agree, uninstalling is a pain, but I’m trying to save money by going with a lower storage version.
