How can I collect payments from clients who aren’t paying their Azure CSP bills?

I'm an Azure CSP provider and I'm facing issues with a few clients who haven't been able to pay their bills. Before I consult with legal advice, I'm looking for options to restrict or disable their services as a measure for collection. What are my best solutions here?

You could suspend their services initially. Just a heads up, after 90 days, you'll be able to remove their access completely according to Microsoft’s policies. It's worth looking into that!

Definitely start by consulting legal. You’ll want to make sure you know the rules specific to your country before taking any drastic steps. It’s better to be safe!

Instead of turning everything off, try using a Conditional Access policy. You can block all access except from your CSP's IPs. It's a more controlled approach.

That sounds like a safer route! Thanks for the suggestion.

Be careful about just shutting things down. It could lead to data loss and other issues. I recommend disabling access to the tenancy or M365 instead, allowing you as the CSP to remain connected without completely cutting them off.

If you’re thinking of stopping services, you could start by shutting off tenant access. That usually gets their attention, especially if services like email or OneDrive are affected.
