I'm living in a country with heavy internet restrictions, especially during times of conflict. Recently, after a major disturbance, my internet returned but is plagued by packet loss, affecting all types of connections such as ADSL, 4G, and wireless P2P. Initially, a VPN helped mitigate the issue, but now it seems ineffective. I'm in a desperate situation and I'm reaching out for solutions. Just to clarify, switching countries or ISPs isn't an option, I've already tried reporting this to my ISP, and they were unhelpful. Other service providers haven't improved the situation either. If anyone has suggestions on temporary fixes or workarounds, I'd really appreciate it!

I’ve been in a similar situation trying to help someone in a heavily restricted area. A workaround we found was using a VPN with an exit node located outside the country. Choose a VPN provider that has a server in your capital city so that it seems like your data is being routed locally, which may help. Keep in mind, though, that this method isn't always reliable, especially if you're close to sensitive government areas.
Yeah, I’ve heard of local providers doing similar things. They set up a server locally and tunnel it to a foreign server, but it can be unstable. Good for browsing social media, but probably not great for anything that needs a consistent connection.
