Hey there,

I recently switched to Fedora KDE as my daily driver, and I'm really enjoying the experience! I've managed to set up my drives to auto-mount on boot, but I'm starting to find it a hassle to enter my password every time. Is there a way to disable this password prompt?

Thanks!

If your drives aren't encrypted with something like BitLocker, you just need to tweak your fstab file to stop the password prompt. Check out this guide for more details: [how to edit fstab](https://askubuntu.com/questions/34731/howto-auto-mount-windows-partitions-using-etc-fstab).

You could also use KDE Partition Manager or GParted to edit your mount point without dealing with the config file manually. It's a more visual way to set things up.

To avoid entering your password for mounting, make sure you have the correct entry in your /etc/fstab file. What type of file systems are you trying to auto-mount? That'll help point you in the right direction!
