I'm having an issue with my Victus laptop running Windows 11 that keeps freezing randomly. Sometimes it freezes during startup, and other times it happens after I close the lid and then reopen it later in the day (the longest being overnight while it's plugged in). The only way to resolve it when it freezes is to force shutdown by holding the power button, which I know isn't ideal. Despite being up to date, this problem has persisted since I got it. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Another tip is to run a SMART scan of your hard drive to rule out any disk issues. Sometimes, buildup of dust can cause hardware problems too, especially if it’s been in a dusty environment. If you’re comfortable, opening it up and cleaning it might help. Just make sure to back up your data beforehand.
It sounds really frustrating! First, you might want to check the Event Viewer for any errors that could point to what's causing the freeze. Updating your GPU drivers could help too. Set your power settings to energy-saving mode and see if that makes a difference. Some laptops have trouble when they overheat, so make sure the fans are running properly and not clogged with dust. If the laptop is still under warranty, contacting the manufacturer might be a good idea since it sounds like the issue has been there from the start.
This could potentially be a thermal issue if the laptop gets too hot. Although it's relatively new, try monitoring the temperature. Also, confirm that you're using the right power adapter. Sometimes, hardware defects can happen, and it might be worth having a professional check it out, especially if it’s been happening since you got it.
