How can I help my mom understand that 5G isn’t harmful?

Hey everyone! I'm 18 and had a bit of a heated discussion with my mom recently. On a drive to high school, she mentioned that 5G is causing cancer rates to rise because of all the antennas around us. I tried explaining the science behind electromagnetic waves and how mobile networks work, but it ended up making me sound a bit crazy. I really want to explain to her that 5G technology shouldn't be a source of fear or stress. Any tips on how to help her understand this better?

It's good to note that cancers existed long before 5G technology was even a thing. Maybe point that out to her?

I tried bringing that up, but it didn’t really help.

There are actually peer-reviewed studies showing that low-strength radio frequencies like those from 5G are generally harmless to humans. You can probably find some solid research with a quick search. The real challenge may be whether your mom is open to hearing that from experts.
