How Can I Help My Mum Whose Phone Might Be Hacked?

I suspect my mum's phone has been hacked because she keeps getting alerts claiming her account is compromised and that messages are being monitored. I'm not really sure how to tackle this. I suggested she restart her phone just in case someone is currently accessing it. Does anyone have any advice on how to calm her down or address this situation? I'll share screenshots of the notifications in the comments.

It sounds like those notifications are just coming from the Chrome browser, not her phone's actual system. These are often scare tactics meant to sell you something fake. The best thing to do is to turn off those notifications in Chrome. You can find instructions on how to do that on Google's support page. Also, let her know that she should always decline when a website asks to send notifications. Better to be safe!

That's reassuring to hear! I'll go over to her place and help her out now. Thanks for the quick tip!
