Hey everyone! I recently watched a video by James Lee about migrating to Linux, and he mentioned using Affinity Photo and DaVinci Resolve. I think he was using Linux Mint. I've tried installing these programs on Mint without any luck, and now that I've switched to Arch, I'm still struggling to get them running. Does anyone have tips or know if it's even possible to run these programs on Linux? My PC is AMD-based, by the way.

You can try using Wine to get those programs running. It's a compatibility layer that lets you run Windows apps on Linux.
I've tried using Bottles to manage Wine apps but couldn't get it to work either.
Check out the Arch Wiki for DaVinci Resolve. It has a lot of detailed instructions that might help you out! Also, there’s a forum thread on Affinity Photo running on Linux with Bottles you may find useful.

Just to add, DaVinci Resolve actually has native support for Linux, so you might want to check that route!
