Hey everyone! At my company, we provide Android phones to employees for making calls, placing orders, and handling messages via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, these phones are just set up with regular Google accounts and limited security measures, mainly just a screen lock PIN and account passwords. This has led to some issues, like employees creating personal accounts, saving contacts, and deleting everything when they leave. We've also faced trouble tracking conversations for potential fraud since there's no backup.
I've been asked to implement a system that ensures company control over these phones, protecting company data and allowing us to audit conversations. I'm new to this, so I'm looking for recommendations on software or services. Any advice? Thanks!

For managing Android phones effectively, we use Samsung devices and leverage Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools. Samsung's Knox allows you to create business-managed profiles, which can be controlled remotely. This lets you install apps and restrict personal account access. There are some limitations, especially regarding eSIM profiles, but overall it's a solid solution. If you inform employees that their phones are strictly for company use, you could enforce MDM to only permit company accounts. Samsung offers more extensive options, so it’s worth exploring those.
That sounds interesting! I currently don't have Samsung phones, but I’ll definitely look into it. Most of the solutions I've seen are similar to Knox.
