Hi everyone! I'm currently on holiday in a camper van, and the campsite WiFi is too slow for streaming. I've downloaded some TV episodes to my Android phone from a UK channel, but there's no desktop app available to watch them on my laptop. I want to figure out a way to mirror my Samsung S25 to my Dell laptop running Windows 11 so I can enjoy these videos on a bigger screen. I tried connecting via USB, but that didn't work and normal casting requires WiFi, which isn't reliable here. I've seen guides that talk about enabling debugging, but that option is blocked on my device. Any advice on how to make this work? Thanks!

I've had luck using scrcpy to stream videos from my Android device to my Windows laptop via USB. The setup can be a bit tricky, but if you follow a good guide or have some step-by-step help, it can work well! Honestly, I had some help from an AI for it, so I can't lay out every detail myself! 😂
To enable debugging, you'll need to turn on developer mode first. Check out how to do that on Samsung's support page. Just keep in mind that if debugging is blocked, it might still cause issues for you.
You can try using Miracast since it utilizes WiFi Direct, which doesn't rely on typical WiFi setups. This might work well for casting between your devices without the slow internet getting in the way.
Another option is to create a mobile hotspot from your laptop using the slow WiFi connection. If your laptop can set up a hotspot, connect your phone to that and you should be able to cast over the local LAN without speed issues from the internet.

I enabled developer mode and see the options menu now, but debugging is still blocked. Any other suggestions?
