How Can I Optimize My PC for Gaming Performance?

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I'm looking for some advice on optimizing my PC to boost its gaming performance. I've got a 1440p monitor and I'm aiming for at least 120fps in games, if possible. I've considered trying underclocking and undervolting, but I find the process a bit intimidating, especially since I'm worried about not giving my GPU enough power. I've been experiencing some stuttering in certain games, particularly some indie titles and Fortnite, which I've noticed isn't as smooth as when I had my previous setup with a 5060ti and 16GB RAM. Below are my current specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800xt
- GPU: Asrock Challenger 9070xt
- PSU: Corsair RM850e (850w)
- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X570-P
- RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 64GB (2x32GB) 3600MHz DDR4
- Storage: Crucial T500 2TB Gen4 NVMe

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a similar setup, and I recently undervolted my 5800x3D and 5070Ti. It helps reduce heat and can even boost performance a bit. I recommend checking out the curve optimizer in the BIOS; I was stable at -30 across all cores. You'll need to use Adrenaline for your GPU, but undervolting it with Afterburner is pretty straightforward. Just look for some tutorial videos on YouTube, and you'll see it's not that scary!

If you're using a laptop with advanced Optimus, make sure to select the discrete GPU in the Nvidia control panel for optimal performance. I also recommend checking out this video on Windows gaming optimizations; it really helped me get better performance with my PCs. Just translate if you need to! Forcing the DLSS CNN model (Preset E or older) also boosts fps; you can do this through the Nvidia App.
