I'm locked out of my Microsoft account and I'm really frustrated. I was using the Microsoft Authenticator app, but it didn't back up on my iPhone. To log in, I need 2FA through the app, but I'm not logged into it anymore. I tried to get a code via email, but I never receive any, possibly because it's linked to an old Gmail account that I deleted and can't recover. The text code option isn't working either, as it keeps saying it's unavailable due to "irregular login attempts." The problem is, to get support, I have to be logged into my account. They don't allow you to call for help, and the only way to reach support is through the online process which is stuck because of 2FA. I've also tried the account recovery option, but I was told I can't use it because I have 2FA enabled. I'm losing my mind! I've had this Microsoft account for 17 years, using it for services like OneDrive and Game Pass Ultimate. Plus, I've swapped my motherboard recently and can't log into my Windows PC without resetting my PIN. I really need help figuring out how to recover my account, especially since I'm paying for these services!

I had a similar issue before, and honestly, the best course of action is to keep trying the support system. If you've paid for a subscription, they might prioritize your case. Keep documenting your attempts to recover, and that might help get you a quicker response from their support team if you prove you've been a long-time customer.
You could try reaching out to Microsoft directly and explaining that you want to unlock your account rather than get it banned. They should be able to assist you with your subscription as well. It may take some time, but persistence can sometimes pay off with support.
Unfortunately, without logging in, your options are extremely limited. When the security measures change, Microsoft usually ends up just locking the account permanently, which is really frustrating. Have you tried any of the recovery options using your original email if you created aliases? Sometimes, those can give you a way back in if you remember the original details.
That’s really tough. I feel for you! If you're in the unique position of having access to your phone but can't get texts, I’d encourage you to keep trying to contact Microsoft support. Sometimes reaching out on social media can get their attention faster.

I totally get it, but dealing with support can be tricky. Have you checked if there’s any chat option available on their website? That might be faster than waiting for emails.
