How can I reset my computer to factory settings when I can’t access anything?

Hey everyone! I'm not super tech-savvy, but I know my way around a computer. I'm trying to reset my PC to factory settings because I've been having issues with a game after an update. I can't delete the game, and it keeps telling me I don't have permission. Whenever I click something that has the blue and yellow Windows shield, the window freezes, and I just get a loading circle for a while before it says 'no access.' I can't reset my computer; it also says no access. I tried using the PE menu, but that didn't work either. Even running CMD as an administrator fails unless I'm in PE. I attempted using DISM, but that resulted in an error with code 87. I'm open to any suggestions because I don't care about losing the data on my computer!

To reset your PC, try going to Settings and searching for "reset this PC." If that doesn’t work, you can create a recovery USB using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and boot from it to reinstall Windows. There are plenty of guides online that walk you through the steps!

I’ve tried both of those options, but I still can’t access anything!

Before you reset, run the command 'sfc /scannow' in Command Prompt if you can. This will check your Windows files for issues and may fix the problem without needing a full reset.

What's SFC? Is it going to help with my access issues?

Have you thought about booting into Safe Mode? That might give you a chance to access the command prompt without freezes. Also, double-check that your account is an admin, since sometimes it can get mixed up.

Yeah, I'm sure my account has admin rights, but it still freezes whenever I try to access anything.
