How Can I Set Up a Display Interface for My Home AI System?

I'm new to building an AI system and ran into a snag. I bought a processor without internal graphics due to some sales, which I'm starting to think could cause problems. I'll be using two graphics cards dedicated to AI tasks. My concern is that if I assign one to handle the system graphics, it might cause conflicts with the AI processing, potentially leading to crashes.

My motherboard only has two PCIe slots, so I don't have room for a budget-friendly graphics card just for display. While I could use an M.2 to PCIe adapter, it feels like a temporary fix that could present a lot of challenges.

Alternatively, I'm considering setting up my system as a server. However, I'm not sure where to begin with that. I've heard that Windows Home/Pro is not ideal for dedicated server use, and although I have basic experience with Linux, I'm worried it might limit my access to AI-related tools.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to get a basic graphics setup without interfering with my AI tasks, or any advice on starting a server setup. Thanks!

It might make more sense to look for a compatible motherboard that has enough slots for both your AI GPUs and a dedicated display GPU. Have you checked the price difference for a processor that includes integrated graphics? Sometimes, it’s worth trading up if it saves you hassle in the long run!

The motherboard, processor, and RAM came as a package for $700 off. I doubt they'd let me exchange just one part. A similar processor with integrated graphics costs about an extra $200.
